Seven Cup Sweet

Hi every one this is the first recipe i am posting on my blog,hope you all like it.

Today i was craving for some sweets and decided to make seven cups sweet,which is one of my favorite sweet and it is one of the South Indian Dish.



Ingredients:

1 Cup-Chickpeas flour/Kadele ittu.
1 Cup-Fresh grated coconut/dry coconut/kayyi turri
1 Cup-Oil/ghee
1 Cup-Milk
1 Cup-Dry fruits(Raisins,Almonds and Cashews)
2-3 Cups-Sugar(White or brown)



Method:

1.Take a heavy bottom pan mix all the above ingredients except dry fruits.

2.On a medium heat keep on stirring occasional for about 10 minutes.

3.When you feel it bit thickening start stirring continuously until the mixture leaves the pan.

4.In an another pan add about 2 tbsp of ghee and roast all the dry fruits.

5.Add the dry fruits to the above mixture,mix well and remove the mixture and pour it on to a greased pan.

6.Let it cool for about 5-10 mins and cut them into required shapes,cut before it becomes completely dry.

I made two versions one without dry fruits and one with dry fruits....
